is a not-for-profit educational organization established to promote corporate responsibility, community service, environmental protection and social well-being. UID believes that the best way to do this is to build a community that understands the importance of working together through research, developing positive organizational behaviors, promoting sustainability and raising the knowledge and skills. Through co-operation among government, business and civil society to bring about social paradigm change and developing quality solutions that would benefit the community.

The UID’s philosophy of “Creating Results through Hearts and Minds” will help propel organisaional change and transformation. The UID promotes its mission through various means, such as when it organized a seminar by renowned world economist Professor David Li Daokui last year and the Tsinghua School of Economics and Management (SEM) Executive Development Program (EDP) this year. Both educational initiatives are catalyst to UID’s effort to encourage personal growth and organization development through the process of “re-thinking and internalisation”.
